Life-long maker of things
Dara grew up in Bend Oregon, and up until her move in 2022 to Eugene, she was the owner and stylist of her thriving salon Fringe. Always expressing her artistic side through her work with hair, and in her off hours as a violist with the Central Oregon Symphony, a seamstress crafting costumes & doing side projects for clients and family, and in recent years becoming OBSESSED with miniatures. Tiny things always made Dara smile, and when she started working with miniature paper flowers it was a match made by the gods. "It's The Little Things" was born in 2021 during the pandemic when Dara had some extra time to spend outside the salon. Now in her new home in Eugene she is diligently crafting and snipping away to make bundles of miniature flowers for her 3" boxed bouquets and tiny paper-scapes.
