Medieval Marauders and Musicians, Snail Riders and Silly Goose guitar-playing rabbits. A new collection of patches and wall hangings this year! Hand-printed, and then embellished with paint, embroidery, beads, and some with Swarovski crystals.

Life-long maker of things
Dara grew up in Bend Oregon, and up until her move in 2022 to Eugene, she was the owner and stylist of her thriving salon Fringe. Expressing her artistic side through her work with hair; and in her off hours as a violist with the Central Oregon Symphony, a seamstress crafting costumes & doing side projects for clients and family, and in recent years becoming OBSESSED with miniatures. Tiny things always made Dara smile, and when she started working with miniature paper flowers it was a perfect match. "It's The Little Things" was born in 2021 during the pandemic when Dara had some extra time to spend outside the salon. Now in her new home in Eugene as a member of the Saturday Market, she is diligently crafting and snipping away to make bundles of miniature flowers for her 3" boxed bouquets and tiny paper-scapes. Added to the current collection are Plant-Ears, the String of Pearls beaded earrings, Botanical Cameo creations that include necklaces, magnets and broaches, and a new line of earrings called "Farm-to-Ear"; whimsical fruits and veggies made from polymer clay. And of course On-a Shoestring Flags are still available. Find me at Holiday Market for a custom design, sewn on the spot while you wait!
New in 2025.... a line of comfortable, fun, and unique Fancy Pants; think bloomers but with highly embellished legs from the knee down. Also check out the Knicker Me Timbers bloomer shorts, and the Dress Happy adjustable dress, with pockets of course!
New in 2026...Medieval Marauders and Musicians, Born of Whimsy, Mischief and Havoc. Dara spent the winter of 2026 channeling her rage and political distress into the carving of her new line of Linoleum-block prints. Currently available as patches and wall hangings...watch for some of these prints on Fancy Pants and Knicker Me Timbers this Spring and Summer.
And when Dara isn't busy crafting up new tiny things, sewing up something fun for you to wear, or selling cannabis to the masses at Substance Marketplace, she is busy playing percussion music in Eugene. She is a current member of Kudana Marimba, Chiedza Marimba, and Samba Ja, a Brazillian drumline.
